And I ask this question because I know there may be some people from across the pond reading this. And well sick and vomit mean completely different things depending on what side of the pond you reside! I really like the American way of doing things. People “get sick” and it doesn’t mean they vomit. I like that! Which is probably why I don’t really have an issue with the word SICK. I’m happy to write it, read it and hear it. But vomit, well that’s another story isn’t it. There is no ambiguity. It means to bloody vomit! I like that in America, a co-worker told me she was getting sick. And it had absolutely nothing to do with being sick sick. Wohoo!
